Gedakina travelled to The Center for Science and Leadership on Hurricane Island. Established in 2009, the Hurricane Island Center delivers STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) experiential education programs lasting 2-10 days for youth ages 11- 18. Judy participated with the class by taking the 14,000 year old stories and integrating it with climate change happening across the island.
